Unbidden Tempest

Today’s poem is by my wife,  Amoda. Last night was a turbulent night.

Earth Rage

Last night, an unbidden tempest raged through me.

Consciousness saw this as a blip in the ocean, unperturbed by this or that.

Self saw this as a tidal wave that threatened to engulf the world.

Caught between two perspectives, I danced.

And fell into empty silence.
