If the world becomes too much
With it’s incessant demands
With it’s constant gnawing away
With it’s shouting
With its obsessions and speed
And fearful activity

It’s ok to turn away
And say no
Not today
Today I am for myself
And my inner world
Today I will do as I please
With no care
For the world
I have turned it off
I will do whatever I want
With door closed.

And the sign on the door read
NO ONE HOME.
