The purpose is not to open the heart
Because it is not actually closed
But to understand why we had to build
An energetic wall to protect our tenderness
In the first place

And if we find that
The act of awareness and understanding
Brings enough compassion and self love
To melt the wall of defense and protection
And allows us to reconnect with our essential nature
AS INNOCENCE AND TENDERNESS

That is the healing AND the AWAKENING
It is not a spiritual endeavor
It is a HUMAN one.
