I’m not going to lie to you
I’m only interested in stirring your heart
So that everything trapped in it falls out

I’m not going to pretend
Or feed your mind lots of spiritual truisms
I want what’s beyond your thinking

I’m not going to present you with an argument
Or persuade you of anything
I want to ignite your inner fire
So that it burns up what is no longer needed

I can’t offer you any method or path
All I can do is lay this carpet of beauty out
In the hope that you will jump on
And fly into the mystery of the unchartered and unknown

There are secrets within each of us yet to be discovered
The majesty of the universe is contained behind those doors
I’m trying to offer you the key to unlock them.
