After all is said and done
We are all just visitors here
Every single one of us
And no one has any more right
Than anyone else
No one can claim dominion or ownership
For each of us is a stranger
And, if anything, it is our existential duty
To leave this world
More beautiful and loving
Than when we arrived
And those who fail to do that
Or at least try and do that
Are failing themselves and the human family.
