There is a fire in your heart
I see it, smoldering and forlorn
But still it is there, waiting for the day
When it can ignite into beauty
And become its true self
Let this be the day
When all that has been denied
And pushed into the shadows
Falls into that fire
And comes home to love
Your longing is for that fire
But your fear is what stops it igniting
Holding on to what is past
All those old grievances
That have outlived their usefulness
And now just hang around
And pour scorn on the embers
There must come a time when you say
Enough, no more
No more allegiance to the endless stories
No more shoulds or shouldn’ts
No more enslavement to the voices
But a constant turning towards the fire
Giving those flames your attention
Until all there is, is the light.

I feel the fire in many hearts FINALLY being rekindled!! Time to take our lives back…and then our country. Namaste.
