You can try hiding parts of yourself away
Without even realizing it
For a lifetime
But they will never disappear
Nothing does
These denied and turned away from parts
Have an underground life in the shadow world
Influencing your actions, words and experiences
Seemingly hell bent on destruction
But actually trying to grab your attention
So they can come to the light of wholeness
And be welcomed home to love.
